A conservatively styled hardtop cruise with a practical layout. The layout of this boat is similar to most hardtop models with the helm and sofa on the bridge deck and the dinette, galley and V-Berth on the lower level. What sets the 289 apart from the others is her amidships berth, located beneath the bridge deck with its own private door, an arrangement that brings the total sleeping capacity to six. Her large cockpit is suitable for a couple of folding deck chairs and a few guest. Additional features include a well-equipped galley with plenty of storage, a swim platform and boarding ladder, and a transom door.
