This vessel was SOLD on August 17. In time for OFFSHORE and CANYON fishing, Proven! Catch tuna, wahoo, dolphin, sharks and swords. 600lb+ electric freezer/ icebox, 100+ gallon live wells. Diesel powered, bow and stern thrusters, generator, air conditioning, galley, full electronics array, onboard head and room for 3 adults to sleep! Fully loaded and ready to hit the water with you and a crew. Yanmar diesel motor is solid, well-maintained by the owner, and ready to go. Off-grid power provided by Yanmar's 6kW diesel generator. This features a ton of deck space, two 40 gallon livewells, an 18 cubic foot fish box chiller, two Taco telescoping outriggers, ten rocket launchers, & 10-rod holders. Designed for maximum efficiency, durability and comfort in mind it is now ready for another owner to take the helm. With all three tanks filled (340 gallons)at between 6.5 and 7 knots, range is close to 1500 miles. The hull is molded, and Airex cored, bow and stern hydraulic thrusters ( which are not operational, the cabin and topsides FRP construction with Nida Core, three watertight bulkheads of Airex cored FRP, with seven aluminum framed offshore commercial grade windows. The enclosed pilothouse design allows for non-stop operation in any conditions. The 16,000 BTU air conditioner provides cold air or reverse cycle heat. The galley has an induction stove, microwave and fridge box. A lengthy port side lounger has storage access underneath and a fold-up table. Helm is professionally laid out with everything at the Captain's fingertips. A Danforth compass, Fireboy monitor, inverter panel, and clear gauges. Accessory switches are clearly labeled. Info provided by the seller: In the lower cabin is a port side bunk, two starboard bunks, and underneath storage. The head has a 12-gallon holding tank, solar vent fan and hot/cold sink that doubles as a shower (10-gallon water heater) Freshwater cooled with a heat exchanger. After seawater leaves the heat exchanger, half is injected into the exhaust and half goes out a through-hull on the side of the boat. I have three props for the boat. With the fastest prop, she will cruise at 20 mph @ two mpg. With the slowest prop, she cruises 15 mph @ 1.2 mpg and 7mph @ eight mpg. I use this boat to pull side-scan sonar to fish on multi-day surveys, so she's currently wearing the slow prop for max efficiency and low engine load. With the antennas down, she's 12 feet tall. Has three freshwater tanks. Regular electric grinder toilet, with a holding tank or overboard dump option. Outstanding maintenance items as ofReplace 24v motor on thrusters. (We never needed the thrusters.) -Chill plate in the aft stern fish box is functional but disconnected. -Aft Livewell pumps are disconnected from 12v power. (We use the live wells for storage.) -Some spider cracks in starboard cabin windows. -Chipping topside paint on the back and front deck. -Cosmetic fiberglass repairs. Notes: This is a working boat that runs weekly overnight sonar survey cruises in the Gulf. Total hours 7/18/21: 3,582 The boat is currently propped to get 4-6 miles per gallon at 7 mph, which is sonar survey speed. If you switch out the props with the bigger one, the absolute max speed is about 22 mph at 1 mile per gallon. I never run it that hard. It spends 99% of its time at 7 mph. The A/C is new and runs really cold. We use the V-berth mainly for storage, and we put a little bunk in the main cabin for crew. The hull and cabin of this boat were made entirely from fiberglass composites - mainly honeycomb and foam core. There's nothing to rot anywhere. The hull is heavy and solid and rides comfortably at any point of sail. We've done a ton of maintenance this season. The crew keeps a log of any issues underway, and we address any maintenance items as they come up. There are some cosmetic issues on my list to address this winter. It needs new rhino-liner sprayed on the back and side decks. The topside paint needs some touch-up. Rust stains here and there. As I said, it's a working boat. It's paid for itself many times over, and I'm ready to move up to a bigger boat. If you think it could work for you, I'd encourage you to offer whatever you think is fair. I'm motivated. Standing room height over the engine cover is 6'1". Standing room next to the steering wheel is 6'2". We are looking for people all over the country who share our love for boats.
