DESCRIPTION

UPDATE 6th June 2023

Please note: This boat is ashore on the hard at Eastbourne's Sovereign Harbour.
This is due to, earlier this year, corroded anode studs at the transom and failure of the aft bilge pump causing water ingress to a depth of a few inches in the aft cabin.
The propellors are being fitted on the boat on 8th June 2023.

Viewing by arrangement on a week-day with the Broker.

For reference the following is the Listing when the boat was purchased in October 2021...

The Supermarine Swordfish 36 was conceived as the Aston Martin of the seas.

MBY recently stated it was a VERY cool boat.

Made either for the experienced yachtsman who wants to go places whatever the weather or the sun-loving enthusiast who appreciates elegance and style.
Either will enjoy this Swordfish, appreciating both the specification and the finish of this motor yacht that provides sea-going comfort and performance due to her soft-ride deep vee hull and flared topsides. Built for Mr John Prentice a founding Director of Supermarine motor boats, who employed Mr Alan Burnard of Fairey Marine powerboat fame, this Supermarine Swordfish 36 is for sale with the same broker involved in all transactions since then.

'Mosi-oa-Tunya' is the formal name and was nicknamed 'Marlene' for a time.
Part One registered for secure transfer of title and located in Eastbourne (not Brighton).
