Hand built by Soar Valley Steel Boats in 2011, 'Cwtch' (a Welsh word for 'Home'), was originally named 'Grasshopper' and has been fitted out to a high standard by the first owner, which was completed in 2014. Purchased by the current owner shortly after, the vessel has been moored at our marina ever since and could remain here subject to our usual terms and conditions. The vessel had a recent survey, which is available to prospective buyers for information purposes only. Construction
Welded steel plate construction with 8mm sole plate and counter, 6mm hull sides, 5mm decks and cabin sides, 6mm cabin roof. The hull was originally treated with an epoxy tar coating.
The deck structure encompasses the foredeck, self-draining forward cockpit with stowage and gas lockers, side decks, cabin and aft deck.
Welded steel footrails are fitted to the forward and aft deck and cabin roof.
The aft deck is fitted with two steel deck stowage boxes, engine control pedestal and painted plywood access hatches to the engine compartment.
There are eight painted alloy framed toughened glass windows with hopper style opening sections, and single round port and two steel framed glazed starboard side cabin doors.
The deck and cabin structure are spray painted blue and white and the decks are painted with a non slip finish.
A recent addition is a full fabric pram hood and stainless steel frame enclosing the aft deck and hatch with zipped panels for ease of access and ventilation.
The vessel has polyurethane spray foam insulation throughout with additional under floor insulation. The interior is lined with oak T&G slats and laminated plywood with engineered oak flooring.
Accommodation
A pair of steel aft doors lined in oak and a sliding steel hatch give access to a set of steps that lead down to the very spacious interior comprising-:
Galley-: white gloss built-in units with grey trim, granite work tops, Franke 1.5 bowl sink with mixer tap, Siemens integrated dishwasher, integrated fridge and freezer, Bosch 5 ring gas hob, electric grill, gas oven, microwave oven.
Saloon-: open plan with a neatly concealed office cupboard, 3kW multifuel stove with Fired Earth tile surround.
Passage way-: leading forward from the saloon with doors to the bathroom and bedroom.
Bathroom-: fitted vanity unit with marble work top and large mirror behind, white ceramic bowl wash basin, Jabsco electric pump-out toilet, full size quadrant shower cubicle with Hans Grohe water saving rain dance shower head and mixer tap, Fired Earth light blue tile surround, Bosch washer/dryer.
Bedroom-: built-in full height wardrobe, double bed, corner unit, a pair of steel glazed doors to the well deck.
There are LED downlighters throughout, and Roman blinds on the windows.
There are currently numerous items of furniture on board that may be available to a purchaser if required, subject to negotiation.
Engines
Beta Marine B60 2.2L 4 cylinder 60hp diesel engine coupled to a shaft drive with electric start and single lever control. Lewmar bow thruster with joy stick controls.
Equipment
Bosch five burner hob, Stoves oven and grill, hot water calorifier tank (heated via 240v immersion or engine cooling circuit), Stovax multifuel stove, Webasto Thermo Top 4.2kW diesel heater supplying 4 domestic sized radiators, 2 propane LPG bottles.
Electrics
12v and 240v electric systems. 5 x 12v batteries, 3kW charger/inverter, 12v LED lighting, Jabsco Parmax 3.5 12v water pump, Whale Gulpher shower waste pump, Jabsco 12v pump-out toilet, Rule 500gph bilge pump, navigation lights, headlight, twin horn.
Sterling galvanic isolator fitted.
Certification
Boat Safety Certificate valid to 14/03/2023. Current EA Anglian Region licence valid to 31/03/2020.
