1979 Carter 30 £16,995
The Carter 30 has a well proven reputation for impressive and sea kindly performance, with a practical layout which offers safety and comfort at sea. With a replacement Volvo D1-20 20hp diesel engine and gearbox in 2017, 17 engine hours, new Saildrive fitted at the same time with 2 folding blade propeller. Accommodations

The Carter 30 offers 6 berths in 2 cabins with approx. 6' standing headroom. V-berth forward with infill converting to double and hatch to deck. Separate heads compartment to port with Jabsco marine toilet, stainless steel washbasin and shower with manual pump-out and teak grating. Saloon has an L-settee to port converting to a double berth and a single settee berth to starboard (both approx. 6'3" long), both fitted with lee cloths, and a central table with folding leaves. Chart table to starboard with quarter berth aft. Galley to port consisting of a 4-burner gas hob with oven and grill, large coolbox and stainless-steel sink with manually pumped cold water supplied from 80 litre freshwater tank. Upholstered in blue velour.

History and Construction

Built in 1979 at the Teliga yard in Poland to a design by Dick Carter. White GRP hull and superstructure with moulded non-slip deck surfaces. Lead fin keel. Tiller steering to skeg hung rudder. Self-draining aft cockpit with teak laid seats.
