Accommodations

Enjoy your journey in style below deck, with an airy interior and plenty of natural light coming from various deck and hull windows. Designed as a semi deck-salon, Carpe Ventum's SALON features a large settee around the salon table on portside and another settee on starboard. With the salon table enlarged, it accommodates comfortably the crew and even a few visitors. The salon offers plenty of space where children can play and the generous galley will cater the most demanding crew. There is also a comfortable well-designed NAVIGATION STATION. The nav station features ample space for paper charts storage under the large navigation table and there is a dedicated nav desk seat.

CABINS AND HEADS: The luxurious owner’s FORE-CABIN features a large double berth, lots of storage and plenty of natural light coming from the deck hatch and two ports. The SAILOR’S CABIN is also forward. This cabin has bunk beds, accommodates two, and features ample space for storage. The TWO AFT CABINS are comfortable as well and very bright. The generous main head compartment offers a separate shower stall. The aft head is convenient to both aft cabins and to the companionway steps.

Electrical/ Mechanical/ Plumbing

The yacht has always received regular maintenance from qualified mechanics. All service has been done on schedule.

  • 110V Electrical System - Originally built with 220 VAC system (for European market) and 12V DC system.
  • In 2015 retrofitted to 110 VAC leaving 220 VAC system in place. The 220 VAC system has never been tested by current owner.
  • Also expanded 12 VDC system throughout boat.

Batteries:

  • All batteries are Lifeline AGM (6 are 2016 and 1 is 2018)

Sails and Rigging

Jib:

  • The jib and main purchased October 2017. They are manufactured from North 3Di NORDAC, which is a Dacron material. Unlike normal Dacron construction, 3Di is a single sheet of Dacron formed on a mold. They have low stretch, great sail shape and longer life than normal Dacron sails.
