Custom Built - One of a kind, 63 foot Center Cockpit Ketch designed by Allen Erickson and built by Stuart Yacht Builders, Stuart Florida. She was built for the -- ONLY OWNER -- with great attention to detail and no limit on time or expense to complete the custom build in 1983. She has a conventional encapsulated lead keel with skeg hung rudder. Hull is solid FRP construction and over 2 inches thick. She is a cutter rigged ketch with roller furling Genoa and Staysail and Hood in-mast furling systems in both main and mizzen masts. Main mast is stepped on the keel and mizzen mast is stepped on a permanent glassed-in athwart-ships bulkhead.

Accommodations

. Farthest forward is the workshop and tool storage area.

. Next aft is the double Guest cabin with access to the forward head with separate shower stall.

. Next aft is the large Main Salon with wide 8 foot long leather couch to port and an L shaped couch to starboard that converts to a large berth. Aft to starboard is the dining table that will seat 8 and has hand built seating that fits the curve of your seated body, like the old fashion Church Pews, hand shaped (very comfortable).

. Next aft to starboard is the navigation and electrical panel area this is very large and well designed for use offshore. Entrance to the Engine room which has access on all sides and good room to service all equipment, pumps and running gear.

.The aft port side of the Salon starts the Galley, designed for a gourmet cook - very large and functional. Quality stove and oven, microwave, barbecue, refrigerator, freezer, deep large sinks and tons of storage and counter-space. Very comfortable Galley working space at Sea, going aft to the Master Cabin entrance.

. The Master stateroom is large, comfortable and very well appointed with the center-line Master berth having a custom hand carved headboard. The private head has a complete deep bathtub with a shower, custom built.

. There are many custom hand built features about this Yacht interior that must be seen to be appreciated. A brass fireplace in the main Salon - 14 opening ports and 8 foot headroom. This is truly, a one of a kind, comfortable home on the water that can (and has) been all over the world in style and safety.

Deck

Starting at the bow - there is a custom built twin roller anchor platform with a large seat farthest forward. The strong welded stainless pulpit was just replaced and custom fitted in March 2015 - it incorporates the anchor windlass.

. The fore deck contains the roller furling units for both head-sail and stay-sail and is very large and well laid out. The mast has everything leading aft to the enclosed cockpit for safety and easy function.

. The center cockpit is very deep and completely protected with full enclosure. She has been sailed comfortably in snow storms. This area has full controls for all sailing and motoring functions as well as navigation electronics for complete planning and function on deck. Visibility and seating comfort is optimal for the entire crew and guests.

. The aft deck is large with permanent seating and chalks for up to a 15ft tender and outboard. There is a custom built launch system attached to the bottom of the mizzen boom that makes launch and retrieval of the tender safe and easy with no removal of the outboard required to store on-deck.

. The stern has a unique, retractable swim platform that disappears, into the stern using twin hydraulic rams. This deck is strong and practical as well as teak overlaid for beauty and a fitting finish to this Custom hand built Classic Yacht.

Electrical

The Navigation station encompasses a very detailed and organized system of guages and monitoring instruments to keep tract of all electrical equipment. There is 12 volt, 24 volt on the DC side and 110 volt and 220 volt systems on the AC side working in tandem with the 9KW diesel Generator to keep everything charged and powered.

Electronics

There is a Raymarine E-120 in the enclosed cockpit that has New antenna June 2016.

The Wind instruments and masthead unit are New (June 2016), the Depth sounder is New (June 2016), the is a New Tri-data instrument installed (New June 2016).

Galley

The Galley is a cooks dream - a full complement of stove top and oven abilities as well as separate refrigerator and large freezer compartments. There is a unique separate inside barbeque that adds more cooking ability and that special flavor to food. storage is easily accessed and everywhere.

Sails & Rigging

All sails are on roller furling systems for the head-sail, stay-sail, main and mizzen. All sails and the standing and running rigging have just been checked and are in good order.
