Owners comments

The last Sigma 38 ever built by North Shore Yachts in 1996 (Hull No. 001) No Fear is a much-loved yacht holding many treasured memories of sailing with family, friends and crew since 2007. She has received much loving care and has always looked after those who have sailed her – whatever the conditions. This is a reluctant sale but the time has come to downsize.

As owners of this Sigma 38 since 2007 we have raced her in many events – including a Fastnet campaign and three times round the island. We have also had many years of comfortable cruising from her home in Gosport to Trinite-sur-Mer in southern Brittany, round the coast of France, Belgium and Holland up to Amsterdam and through the internal waters of Holland. We have never chartered her.

No Fear has always been regularly maintained being lifted ashore every year for inspection and annual maintenance jobs. She has also had a number of additional jobs undertaken (e.g. rigging, hull and keel, deck and new sails). A full history and supporting evidence has been compiled and included in her file as well as a comprehensive set of hull, interior and exterior photographs.

It has been a hard decision to take but No Fear is now ready for new ownership and comes as a great value-for-money package and is ready to go. She will challenge but also provide tremendously enjoyable, safe and rewarding sailing.
