Seawind 1000 XL for sale in CA, United States of America

This beautiful Seawind 1000XL is better than any painted wagon for exploring the West. Mariah has explored from the tip of the Baja Peninsula to the tip of the Kenai Peninsula and is ready to do it again. She has all of the gear for extended cruising including new engines, engine mounts, and canvas. This wagon has 'just been painted' too and now sports new navy blue sail covers, cockpit canvas, and settee cushions (photo update coming soon). I was with her on the 2009 Baja Haha and loved sailing her. She dealt with big swells and some pretty good winds with aplomb. You'll see how well behaved she is in the videos. She has plenty of reserve buoyancy and a great turn of speed (even with 5 big guys aboard). Her twin helms are protected yet provide great visibility. She lives big with her combined salon cockpit (that converted king-size dinette is the best bunk on a beautiful evening at anchor) providing great social space. Her aft centered BBQ on the targa is great for cooking and entertaining. And she has a wonderful interface with the water from both transoms as well as the forward ladder when warm waters invite.

These Seawind 1000 XLs have a quasi-owner's layout with the port hull having an owner's double bunk amidships and an additional bow bunk. The head is aft to port and is one of the biggest you'll ever see on a relatively small cat. Starboard is the galley amidships, a forward bow bunk, and an aft cabin. You'll be surprised by how much room there is aboard - even when you're below. You'll also be surprised at her capabilities.
