Arian is being sold at far below market value on an "as is where is basis",. whilst her general condition is superior to many others of this class she does have issues with both engines hence the low price. the original petrol engine were removed a few years ago and replaced by twin AQAD41A diesel engines both fitted with Volvo's Electronic Diesel Control system. These engines have done around 450 hours each. Both engines turn over easily but will not fire up, the pre heat systems do not appear to be working, one engine has a leaking heat exchanger and the other a .leaking exhaust elbow, both engines will need a full investigation and service.

Engines aside the vessel is in a good and tidy condition for her age and is well equipped at both the flybridge and internal helm stations. The Accommodation joinery is in very good order and the soft furnishings are reasonable throughout. The cockpit and flybridge seating is also in a good and useable condition, both areas are protected by canvas covers and cockpit tent with windows and zipped access points new in 2022.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge to acquire a good, well proven design at a very reasonable cost.

The new dinghy and outboard engine are available by separate negotiation and are not included within the "as is where is" price.

Construction

Constructed of GRP with solid laminates for the hull and a sandwich construction for the deck module. She has a deep vee planing hull with twin inboard diesel engines and sterndrives.

Engines

The vessel is equipped with two refreshingly uncomplicated Volvo Penta AQAD41A inboard mounted six cylinder marine diesel engines each developing 200 shaft horsepower via Volvo SP290 sterndrives. Both engines have been upgraded to be operated by electrical "fly by wire" throttle and gear control.

Accommodation and layout

The accommodation is split into two levels plus the flybridge, the lower deck foyer has curtained access through to the forward double berth cabin and access doors through to the heads and to the midships twin berth cabin. The upper deck has the helm position forward and to starboard, the dining saloon to port and the linear galley aft of the helm position and to starboard. Patio doors aft open out onto the cockpit area, further seating.and access ladder to the Flybridge with a comprehensive array of controls and two rows of seating.

Arian has just been fitted with a new cockpit and flybridge covers complete with windows and zipped access points.

The accommodation throughout is light, airy, and in good cosmetic order apart from some stitching coming adrift on the saloon seating.
