Renowned for their seaworthiness and their impressive turn of speed these yachts or often chosen for blue water passages and safe family cruisers. The self tacking rig is controlled completely from the cockpit, to tack just turn the wheel, to reef just release the halyard to a marker  and pull the reefing line, to adjust the sail shape, just tighten or loosen the outhaul. The free standing, carbon fibre masts stepped to the keel mean less weight aloft and flex to spill gusts and there is no standing rigging to maintain. More than £40k has been spent on this boat in the last 18 months, a copy of the expenses and what has been replaced is available on request. Viewing highly recommended.

The simplicity of the high-tech carbon yet light rig provides for a much-uncluttered deck and supreme sailing performance. This Freedom 35 has its hull deck and superstructure with new grey Treadmaster non slip on the deck, the hull has been professionally redone with long lasting and most durable Awlgrip Stars & Stripes light blue, moulded in GRP white superstructure, with grey non-slip on the deck, the hull has been professionally resprayed light blue, with aluminium toe rails. Lifting keel and transom hung rudder with wheel steering. The owner is selling as he is looking for a larger boat.

Sails and Spars:

Two keel stepped Carbon Fibre Masts with aluminium wishbones form the basis of the Freedom rig, with two reefs in the main and one in the mizzen. All new control lines are led to the cockpit, New sail covers for foresail and mizzen are included.

Mechanical Systems:
The Freedom 35 is powered by a new (2022) Beta 30hp inboard diesel engine (1 hour), shaft drive to a new three bladed propeller. Single lever controls. Cutlass and inboard bearings replaced 2022, anodes replaced 2022, New Side Power Bow thruster installed, the boat was relaunched September 2022 after full refurbishment.
Electrical Systems:
A full professional rewire of the Freedom 35 was carried out in 2022. 4 x 12-volt batteries, 2 x 12 volt 115Ah domestic batteries 2022, 1 x 12 volt 95Ah engine battery 2022, 1 x 12 volt 115Ah, anchor windlass battery 2022. Charging from the engine alternator, 1 x 240-watt solar panel, Victron battery management system, Shore power connection with 240-volt ring main with five sockets, new 6-way consumer unit, all led lighting. No expense spared.
