Silver Ray is a Fountain 48 Express Cruiser designed by Reggie Fountain with a limited production run. It is powered by twin 480 hp Cummins which are known for their fuel efficiency. Power is put to the water by two Arneson surface drives. The surface drives make the vessel smooth, stable and efficient while running 50+mph. She maneuvers easily in tight areas with a bow thruster. Fountain’s proven, lightweight, performance-stepped hull makes the hull efficient and planes at lower speeds. She rides smooth and steers like a sports car.
The large open cockpit blends Fountain's race-proven helm and heritage with expansive comfort and luxury entertaining. The cockpit lounge has a removable table and seating for eight. A large sun lounge in the cockpit sits atop a tub style storage area.
The interior is light and open. Two staterooms and two heads with stand-up showers and a comfortable salon with a dining table that can be removed or converted into an extra berth make it easy to entertain overnight guests. Three Marine Air HVAC units ensure the boat is comfortable in all areas while the generator ensures that everyone stays comfortable even when underway. The galley has Corian countertops, a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, stainless sink and a ceramic cook top.
