Remarks : The Europa 3000 is a high freeboard five berth yacht of medium ballast ratio with a fin lead ballast keel and balanced GRP rudder underbody arrangement with a masthead rig sail plan. The Europa 3000 designed by Chris Freer is a cruising yacht with good sailing performance, originally designed back in the IOR days she exhibits great up wind sailing characteristics and is a joy to sail. Accommodation : The Europa 3000 offers 5 berths in 2 cabins. Saloon Stbd. Single berth, with shelves and lockers behind the back rest, stowage can be found below the berth. The galley has a stainless-steel sink with a cold-water supply, Flavel two hob gas cooker with oven, work surface, racks for cutlery and crockery. Saloon Port. One berth which converts into a double. Dining table with 2 leaves. Shelves and lockers behind the back rest of the berth. Chart table with seat (battery stowed below). Heads Compartment. To stbd - washhand basin with cold water supply, mirror, stowage locker. To port Marine toilet, hanging locker. Mechanical and Rigging : Mechanical Systems

The Europa 3000 is powered by a single 1981 Yanmar 2QM15 located under the cockpit sole, shaft drive to a two-bladed fixed propeller, last serviced in 2016. Cutlass bearing changed 2015, inboard shaft bearing changed 2017. Last out of water service Feb 2017.

Electrical Systems

1 x 12-volt domestic battery 2016, 1 x 12-volt engine battery 2016, charging from the engine alternator and battery charger. 240-volt shore supply with ring main.

Sails and Spars

Masthead Bermudan sloop rig, silver anodised mast by Kemp, single aft swept spreaders. Stainless steel standing rigging replaced 2010. Terylene running rigging 2017. Furling head sail by Rotastay, mainsail slab reefing with lazyjacks and stackpack.
