Remarks : Every time I have the opportunity to look at a Bayliner 2556 Command bridge I am again amazed on how Bayliner managed to squeeze this level of accommodation and provide a decent upper helm without compromising on looks and functionality. There is a large cockpit from which you can do a spot of fishing with your mates or simply sit and watch the world go by. The engine access is easy and allows room for servicing with ease. Double patio style doors give access to the main saloon with heads compartment and shower, adequately equipped galley and a very companionable seating area to port. This area along with the forward berth and the berth beneath the dinette allow 6 persons to sleep in comfort. Boat will happily cruise between 15-18 knots depending on sea conditions but is capable of a heady 30 knots if required. Good electronics package including Raymarine C80 chart plotter, Lowrance Elite Chirp X& side imaging depth sounder and an Icom M603 DSC VHF. Hull antifouled ready for season in July 2017. Accommodation : They have managed to fit a lot into the interior of this boat. There are 3 double berths which will sllep 6 persons with ease. The saloon is entered from the cockpit via a partially glazed lockable door. Step down and to starboard is the separate heads with sea toilet, sink and holding tank. Continuing forward is the galley area with decent storage, sink, 2-burner gas hob and fridge. Still on the starboard side is the lower helm position with helm seat, dash with instrumentation and electronic navigation aids. In the bow is a sizeable double berth with storage below. Dinette area opposite galley with comfortable seating and table. This converts to another double if required. Beneath the dinette is a permanent double berth. This is an ideal storage area if only boating for two persons.
