In the exhaustive search for the right vessel to transport his family with five young children around the globe, in optimized comfort and safety, this owner finally decided on “Toad”. Finding a strong reliable cruising yacht with the long legs and five ensuite cabins, and all the associated features that “Toad” now offers, was a challenging quest. As “Apollonia” this Oyster 70 was found resting in the South of England, and so the story began. The owner’s requirement for no compromise on the technical performance of the yacht necessitated a substantial refit and upgrading and replacement of a large proportion of the vital technical components. The details of these improvements are contained in a separate list available to interested parties.
“Toad” was the chosen vessel for an 18 month long family cruise from Europe to New Zealand. She has proved immensely reliable, and fit for purpose. Her professional crew have continually maintained and upgraded her like no other yacht of this size or ilk. As a result, and with very little evidence of her painless and immensely successful cruise, she is offered in turnkey condition, ready to bring the same enjoyment to her next lucky owner. Toad continues to benefit from an extensive maintenance and upgrading program as she lies at her new berth in Imperia, Italy.
