Big Price Reduction1987 Corvette 32 powered by twin 200hp Volvo TMD41 diesel engines with recent rebuild. Cleverly designed to provide a large and open saloon, galley and helm all in one open plan area. A very large owner's cabin aft with a double bed and ensuite, and a visitor's cabin forward with two single beds and an ensuite toilet and washbasin. The aft deck offers a large flat area well protected with side and aft rails, leading up to the large flybridge with seating and well appointed second helm. Very well cared for boat, maintained and upgraded each year by the owner to bring her up to date. Works carried out over the last ten years includes:New holding tank pump and hoses. New Eberspacher heater. New galley. New exhaust hoses. Gelcoat peeled and hull epoxy treated. New Garmin GPSMap 4008 and GMR 18 HD radar fitted. New Jabsco toilet. New Sony stereo and speakers. New Lofrans X2 vertical windlass fitted. Cutlass bearings on both shafts renewed. New teak laminates to the saloon decks. Saloon upholstery replaced with blue faux suede. New 12V panel fitted and 12V system checked and updated. LED lighting fitted in both toilets and engine compartment. Engine cables renewed and control box serviced. Curtains in the saloon replaced with new Venetian blinds. New door curtain and aft window curtains. Engines rebuilt. New fuel tanks. New custom made flybridge top deck covers. In 2016 both engines were removed and sent to a Volvo specialist for a complete "nut and bolt" rebuild. This included new pistons, rings, cranks reground, heads were refurbished, turbos reconditioned, fuel system refurbished by a diesel specialist, etc. The cost was in the region of 20,000 and the engines are still being "run in". Two new stainless steel fuel tanks were also fitted. Just had the first service. In 2016 new Icom IC-M506 VHF radio and Raymarine Evolution autopilot system were fitted. She's a lovely solidly built classic cruiser that's ideal for coastal cruising in comfort. The modern electronics onboard brings her right up to date. Some remedial work will be required in the near future. The front cabin does have a small leak from the roof lining so the deck above may need attention, and some tidying/work is required to the interior in places to the areas exposed to the leak.
