1977 built Vancouver 27 fitted with a Yanmar GM20F 18hp diesel. Designed without compromise for shorthanded long distance sailing, these strongly built all-weather performers are well proven blue water cruisers. Safe and seaworthy, the moderate draft also makes them ideal for coastal cruising and exploring the shallow waters. See the full details on bjmarine.net
Description
The Vancouver 27 is an uncompromisingly cruising-orientated design by Bob Harris - this example from Pheon Yachts will not disappoint. The heavy-displacement long keel hull is very solidly built, and the hull copes well when heavily provisioned for long passages. This 1977 example is the 3 berth version. New Yanmar engine in 2004 and she had a professional paint job in 2014.

The Vancouver 27 was first built on a semi-production basis by Tradewind Boats in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia,CAN, followed by Philbrooks Shipyard and finally Seair Marine Ltd of British Columbia. In 1988, these moulds were destroyed and construction of the boat ceased in North America.
Later, the design was built in England as a collaboration of Pheon Yachts Ltd. and Northshore Yachts Ltd.
