Engines

Vessel powered by a powerful yet economical Yanmar 3YM30 inboard diesel. Engine is in good shape with key start panel mounted in cockpit. The hour meter is digital and like so many of the Yanmar displays, stopped working some time ago. The engine is believed to have completed circa 800 hours and was serviced in December 2019 prior to lift out for the Winter. The engine and is accessible from both the front and the rear. Fresh water cooled via a heat exchanger providing hot water to the calorifier.

Reduction gearbox driving a stainless steel shaft, The 3-bladed, feathering propeller is a thing of beauty and has just returned from Darglow Engineering who have checked her over, polished and greased the moving parts. Brand new anodes to propeller hub and hull.

There is a bank of 2x12V, 120 amp batteries. These are brand new and provide engine start and domestic power. The batteries are recharged via the engine alternator or via a plug in battery charger when attached to shore power. Shore power cable.
Sails & Rigging

Bermudan sloop rigged yacht with deck stepped spars. All lines are led aft to the cockpit allowing for short handed sailing. The standing rigging is not original and it is believed to have been changed within the last 10 years. The running rigging looks to have been replaced on an ongoing basis and is of varying ages but in a good state of condition.

The mails include a semi battened main and a roller furling genoa. The mainsail lives in a boom mounted stack pack which has been removed for cleaning. The roller furling genoa has had a new UV strip within the past 3 years. All sails including the storm staysail are in good condition and will provide many years of decent cruising.

The yacht is rigged for spinnaker use and has the associated rigging and pole. There is no sail however.
