Francis 26 - 1983 - £16,850
Good money has been lavished on this example, with a replacement Beta 13.5 BHP engine having been fitted in 2004, the standing rigging replaced in 2015 and the hull epoxy coated in 2015 too. The primary sails (main and headsail) date from 2012 and are in excellent condition. She is fundamentally well sorted having been set up to compete in the Jester Challenge and other offshore single-handed sailing challenges.

Laid ashore under a canvas cover (included), the owner stresses that she now needs a little TLC to improve her presentation but that this only requires time, attention to detail and some elbow grease on the part of an enthusiastic new owner.

Factory completed by Victoria Marine Ltd. in 1983. A replacement engine (Beta Marine 13.5 BHP) was fitted in 2004. With her encapsulated ballast ratio of 54% and full keel the design shouted out to be a suitable contender for sailing events such as the Jester Challenge and so 'Bluegrass' was purchased from the current owner and re-fitted to satisfy the requirements (both in terms of operating equipment and safety equipment) of solo-sailing events.
Her underwater surfaces were epoxy coated in 2015. Her standing rigging was replaced in 2015 and much of the instrumentation and the AIS and DSC capable VHF dates from this time too.
