DESCRIPTION

This 45’ Admiralty Class MFV (#625) was originally built by J & J Lawrence & Co Ltd in Leith for the Royal Navy before being converted to a motor yacht configuration by the Malahide Shipyard near Dublin and subsequently put on the British Part 1 Register at Portsmouth in 1974. A very solid, traditionally built trawler yacht with larch carvel planked hull on sawn oak frames, oak keel with steel shoe and GRP sheathed Fir / Pine decks on oak beams and supporting knees. It has a characterful mahogany interior offering homely accommodation for up to 5 persons in 3 separate cabins.
