Accommodation

See plan: Six berths in three cabins including saloon. Good standing headroom. Teak fit out. Double berth in fore cabin, two salon settee berths, double berth to aft cabin. 240V shore power system with battery charger, ring mains and immersion heater. Pressurised hot and cold fresh water system with 120l alloy tank. Galley with twin stainless steel sinks, fridge unit to cool box, gas cooker with two burners and oven. Plenty of galley stowage. Heads with marine toilet, sink and shower. Teak and holly saloon floor. Chart area with large table, 12V switch panel and stowage. White pvc to chart seat, blue fine draylon upholstery elsewhere. White curtains throughout. Eberspacher diesel fired central heating system. Radio/CD player. The varnish work is in excellent condition. Saloon table and galley return covers.

Mechanical Systems

Located under companionway. Year 2002 Yanmar 2GM marine diesel engine. 18hp. Fresh water cooled. Saildrive to folding propeller. Single lever engine controls. 55 litre fuel capacity in alloy tank. Approx 6 knots cruising speed.

The engine is regularly serviced and although the hours are unrecorded are estimated at no more than 500. Last serviced in 2020 by owners engineer. The saildrive gaiter was replaced in 2018.
Three 12V batteries (75ah each, 2015) in two banks charging via engine alternator and shore power charger.

Sails & Spars

Keel stepped fractional sloop rig with twin spreaders by John Masts. Silver anodised aluminium mast in 2010 and boom in 2002. Discontinuous rod rigging, 2010. Spectra running rigging, 2010. Alloy and carbon spinnaker poles. Rod kicker. Cascade type backstay tensioner, new ropes 2019. Towing genoa cars. Slab reefing to mainsail with lazy jacks. Uprated Harken main sheet track. Profurl headsail furling system with drum below deck line. Lewmar 30 self tailing secondary winches. Lewmar 44 self tailing primary winches. The mast and rigging were replaced in 2010 as the original mast developed a fault above the gooseneck.

Construction

Built by X-Yachts A/S, Denmark in 2002. White foam cored grp hull with light grey broad waterline stripes. Hull epoxied from new. White grp coachroof with light grey side decks with moulded non skid pattern. Black alloy toe rails. Lead/iron fin keel linked to steel hull rib system for excellent with distribution. Tapered alloy rudder stock with low friction needle bearings. Tiller steering. Self draining anchor well and cockpit. Six in total cockpit lockers. Sugar scoop type transom. Stainless steel mooring cleats, coachroof handrails, stanchions and guard wires. Step through bow rail. 2020 acrylic washboards.

Additional Comments

This boat has been in her present ownership from new and has been very well cared for. Her experienced owner raced her initially but stopped about 10 years ago and has cruised since. East Coast based she has also been to the Solent, France, Belgium and Holland. Lack of use has prompted her sale.
