SERENITY is a standout example of the well-liked Westport/Christensen series of yachts built in the 1980s. This practical vessel features a spacious 3-stateroom, 3-head layout, including a full-beam master suite, a large salon, and an on-deck galley. The expansive aft deck, walk-around side decks, and generous flybridge create the perfect environment for outdoor enjoyment and entertaining.
Additionally, SERENITY is equipped with a large full-beam aft engine room and lazarette for easy maintenance and storage.
Having undergone a multi-million-dollar refit over the past four years, virtually every area of the yacht has been upgraded. Key features include underway stabilizers, a powerful bow thruster, new teak exterior decks, fresh teak and holly soles throughout the interior, new cushions, a new flybridge enclosure, new generators, and much more.
Whether you're a classic live-aboard or long-range cruising enthusiast, SERENITY should be at the top of your list.
Key FeaturesSERENITY offers an exceptionally open and airy layout, providing several comfortable and inviting living spaces throughout. Upon entering the salon through double teak and glass doors from the large covered aft deck, you'll find a well-appointed entertainment center to port, with a large sofa, loveseat, and coffee table to starboard. The forward dining area complements the space, and the entire salon is surrounded by expansive windows, allowing for ample natural light and panoramic views.
Moving forward to starboard, a stairwell leads to the owner and guest staterooms. The full-beam owner’s stateroom is located aft and is fully ensuite with separate his and her heads. Forward, there are twin guest staterooms, each with a queen-size bed and ensuite heads for added privacy and comfort.
Back in the salon, you can walk forward on the port side, passing the generously sized athwartships galley, and ascend a few steps into the pilothouse. The pilothouse is equipped with a centerline helm and captain's chair, flanked by a small dinette to starboard. To port, there’s a conveniently located day head. Access to the side decks is made easy via doors on both port and starboard, and there’s a central companionway leading to the flybridge for seamless movement between spaces.
To the port side of the pilothouse, stairs lead down to the crew quarters, which feature a small dinette, two spacious crew cabins, a laundry area, and a second full galley.
The engine room is a standout feature, offering full-height walk-around space. It can be accessed through a door from the cockpit, via the large lazarette, or through a hatch in the aft deck.
Outdoor areas are equally impressive, with the flybridge deck being large enough to comfortably accommodate 20 or more guests, perfect for entertaining. The bow, aft deck, and cockpit are also generously sized, providing plenty of space for relaxation, outdoor activities, and easy access to the water.

His and her ensuite heads each offer the same amenities, with hers also featuring a separate bathtub.
The aft engine room can be accessed through a watertight cockpit door or a flush hatch on the aft deck. It provides full standing height, complete access to both engines, newly installed generators. There is also a workbench aft and tool storage in the lazarette.
SERENITY is a rare offering on today’s brokerage market. Her current owner has put over $2 million into refurbishing and refitting SERENITY into the beautiful classic yacht she is today. While primarily enjoyed throughout the Northeast and Bahamas in recent years, SERENITY is a Panama Canal veteran and has traveled both US Coasts, Central America, Canada and the Caribbean extensively. She is offered due to her owner’s desire to downsize.
