The Vancouver 27 designed without compromise for shorthanded long distance sailing, these strongly built all-weather performers are well proven blue water cruisers. Safe and seaworthy, the moderate draft also makes them ideal for coastal cruising and exploring the shallow waters of the East Coast and beyond. This particular Vancouver complete the ARC in 1988. She has been owned by the current owner for the past 6 years. 2016 survey report available upon request.  A berth in Gillingham Marina is also available.

Accommodation :

This Vancouver 27 has three single berths , 6’2” headroom, with plenty of stowage throughout. In the fore-peak there is a large amount of stowage, marine toilet, washbasin and hanging locker. In saloon, two settee berths. Chart table to starboard with quarter berth behind and galley opposite.

The Galley is equipped with two burner gas cooker with oven and grill Stainless steel sink drainer, cool box, manually pumped water supply. 60 litre freshwater capacity. Wet hanging locker. Taylors paraffin heating. Upholstery in golden yellow patterned cloth. It has a radio/cassette player fitted.

History and Construction
Built in 1979 by Pheon Yachts to a design by Robert B. Harris. Pastel blue GRP hull. Teak rubbing strake. White GRP superstructure with teak laid cockpit. Long keel with encapsulated ballast. skeg hung rudder. Tiller steering. Aft self draining cockpit. The yacht was last ashore in 202. Arrangements have been made for the yacht to be lifted, antifouled and the anodes changed at the end of May 2023 by Gillingham Marina.

Sails and Spars:
Cutter rigged, masthead main. Anodised aluminium deck stepped mast and boom by Kemp. Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging replaced as required. Slab reefing mainsail with lazyjacks. Profurl headsail furling system. Lines led aft to cockpit.

Single lever control. 150 litre fuel capacity stainless steel tank. Maximum speed under power approximately 6 knots. Last serviced February 2022 by the owner. Engine hours 3127 as at April 2023.

3 x 12 volt batteries 90AH (2015 & 2018) charging from the engine alternator, solar panel and 240-volt battery charger, 240-volt shore power connection
