Summary of the specifications: a good performer (light, good sails with a coherent draft) and comfortable (2 nice large cabins plus one cabin for the skipper, a very beautiful saloon, 3 heads, a comfortable cockpit with a beautiful aft deck). The hull inspired by the Imoca of the years 2000, a full carbon construction, an incredible level finishing for this type of boat, a high level of maintenance, all make Aile VII an atypical sailboat that can be compared to a work of art. Yet the boat is simple to use and can easily be manoeuvred by two people. At last, the keel partially retractable, thanks to a hydro-electric cylinder allows to reduce the draft from 3.30m to 1.85m for easier access to moorings.
