The Stevens 1140 is a sturdy aft cabin Dutch steel cruiser with very spacious accommodation, ideal for extended cruising and European waterways. This particular example is equipped with twin diesel Volvo TAMD31 diesel engines, is well equipped and has been well maintained in her current ownership. Accommodation
The accommodation offers up to seven berths in three cabins and saloon. Sliding door from port side leading to saloon with helm position and a range of storage cupboards to port with settee berths with storage beneath and table opposite to starboard side. Steps leading down to split level dining area with U shaped dinette to starboard side converting to a double berth and galley opposite to port, sink with H&C water supply, Origo spirit/electric hob. Smev stainless steel oven and grill, refrigerator and plenty of stowage above and below. Forward cabin with two large single berths port and starboard with storage below and infill converting to a double. Steps down from salon to owners cabin aft with double berth to starboard side and a good range of cupboards and hanging lockers to port. Heads aft to port with sea toilet or holding tank, Vanity unit with moulded sink with H&C water supply and separate shower area. Access from saloon to all round side decking and fore and aft decks. Steps from side decks to upper helm and aft deck area with seating. Full interior lighting. Carpets and curtains.
Mechanical Systems
Located midships. Twin Volvo TAMD31 100hp diesel engines. Fresh water cooled via heat exchangers. Flex mounts. Electric start. Shaft drive to three bladed fixed propellers. Single lever engine controls to wheelhouse and flybridge helms. Cruising speed 6 knots. Maximum speed 9 knots. Diesel fired warm air cabin heating. Calorifier.
