The Dark Side, with her downeast design and Claret hull, is stunning. She has had the very best care and is offered for sale by very knowledgeable owners who spared no expense making sure she is the best she can be.
Her Zeus pod drive system allows ease of operation and increased efficiency, along with a beautifully quiet ride. She cruises at 27 knots and will do more than 32 at wide open.
Her galley is down, just across from the owner's stateroom and is a great place for the cook. Loads of counter space and storage allow easy entertaining and gourmet meals.
The owner's stateroom is amidships and takes advantage of the widest beam of the boat. It allows full walkaround area of the bed, lots of storage, and is absolutely gorgeous, thanks to the Shoji style design.
The guest stateroom is forward and is well separated from the owner's stateroom. Both staterooms have a private head and shower.
The main salon is entered from the large cockpit. It is light and bright, with 360-degree views and even has a large skylight for star gazing.
The outside areas are again great for entertaining and relaxing. She is a boat that sits beautifully on her lines and will draw many admiring glances. Don't hesitate....she's lovely.
WalkthroughWhen entering from the spacious cockpit, you enter the light and bright salon. To starboard is a settee that accommodates 4 people and a sliding settee opposite that seats 2. Dinner for 6 is no problem!
Opposite the Stidd helm seats is an "L" shaped settee that is raised, allowing 3 people comfortable, raised seating.
The helm, with its double Stidd seats, is comfortable for long passages and affords easily seen gauges. There is also a door outboard of the helm area which allows quick access to the side deck during docking.
Down a few steps and to port is the galley, and opposite is the owner's cabin with private head and shower.
Forward through a passageway is the guest cabin with private head and shower.
The really interesting part of this overall design is the living space/workroom that is forward of the engine room. It is accessed by sliding the port settee in the salon forward, revealing a stairway to this area. There is a bed for crew, if you like, and work space. Very unique!
Main Salon
• Stainless steel bi-fold door from cockpit
• Opening sunroof
• "L" shaped settee to starboard with filler to convert to a double berth, if needed
• Electrically operated window aft of settee
• Sliding windows in salon on cabin sides
• Table that can be dining height or lowered for cocktail use
Utility Room
• Port side settee slides to allow steps down to air conditioned utility space/crew quarters.
• Splendide washer and separate dryer
• Work space
• Storage drawers and locker
• Large crew bunk
Helm
• The helm has two Stidd 500N series helm seats
• Stazo 400 mm teak steering wheel with tilt helm and Sabre logo
• Cummins DTS single lever electronic controls
• Cummins Smart Craft display (engine data, tank levels, vessel data and alarms)
• Switches for horn, running lights, anchor light, engine room blower and optional equipment
• Triple windshield wipers and washers
• Ritchie compass
• Mates lounge forward with chart locker across from the Stidd helm seats
• Hinged access door to side deck at helm
GalleyThe galley on The Dark Side is midships, down several steps and to port. It is very light and bright, with great counter space.
The placement of the Master stateroom makes perfect sense. Being amidships, the motion of the boat is much more subdued, lending to a more restful area.
• Master stateroom is amidships with queen island berth
• Sabre signature Shoji style doors and trim....just beautiful
• Ensuite master head has Corian sink, cherry framed mirror, ceramic tile sole and shower stall with glass divider and glass tile decor.
• Storage is located below the queen berth and in two hanging lockers and multiple drawers
• The cherry interior is particularly of note in this cabin. Just beautiful...
Guest StateroomMoving forward you find the guest/day head to port.
Past the entrance to the guest/day head, you enter the guest cabin. It is light and bright during the day, and cozy in the evening. A delightful cabin for your friends and family.
Cockpit
What a great place for evening cocktails, or to enjoy the quiet ride during your trip.

The Dark Side has always been cared for by the excellent marina where she is docked. There are inspections performed when she is being commissioned and decommissioned. Battery checks and oil samples are done. During one of these inspections in 2023, leaks around the shaft seals were discovered. The gear cases were torn down, prop shaft hubs removed and she was given new shafts, and completely serviced. She has been monitored since and all is well.
Also, later in 2023, due to a possible lightning strike a distance away, she had an auto pilot module, CCM module and J Box replacement. Again, she was sea trialed, thoroughly tested and used...and works perfectly.
All this to say that she receives excellent care and monitoring.
