Ribeye’s ever popular aluminium hulled RIBs – the T Series.
Ribeye’s unique ultra lightweight range of all-aluminium hulled RIB tenders, finished using a toughened white epoxy finish. As well as being ultra-lightweight, their build makes them incredibly strong and they have been purpose built for use with davits and passerelles or a crane on a larger vessel.
Like all Ribeye craft, their build quality is excellent, with well-constructed two-tone, multi-chamber Hypertex buoyancy tubes and heavy-duty rubbing-strakes for alongside berthing.
These ultra-lightweight Ribeye tenders are ideally suited for beaching roles, typical for long-term tender use. Such smaller boats are much more likely to be dragged onto beaches or slipways where gravel, shingle, and hard surfaces can be less than friendly to GRP hulls, which can be prone to deep scratching and the wear and tear of frequent abrasion. Aluminium hulls will take this punishment year after year.
Ribeye aluminium tenders are a real alternative for those who may consider an inflatable for getting to and from a larger boat but would prefer a hard hull, yet without any weight penalty.
