DESCRIPTION

Designed by Germán Frers, the Hallberg-Rassy 31 has excellent sailing characteristics. The boat is well balanced, and gently moves through the water, pointing and going to weather like no other 31 foot performance cruiser of her generation. IF & WHEN is a great example, know to these offices from new she has been a well cared for yacht, set up for short-handed sailing with furling main sail and self-tacking jib, with all lines as well as all lines led back to the cockpit.

Joinery and upholstery below decks on IF & WHEN shows little sign of wear from new, a credit to her current owners and benefit to her next owners Her full sized, forward-facing navigation table, spacious galley with head compartment and two comfortable double cabins outside the saloon, give you the volume and living space that you might expect to find on a much larger yacht.
TheHallberg-Rassy 31 is always a popular model on our brokerage lists, book your viewing today to avoid disappointment.

Owners Comments

If and When” has been a joy to own and sail over recent years around Cornwall and the West Country. The new in-mast furling main and the self tacking jib makes her easy to sail short handed and the rare wheel steering has been a bonus. The previous owner converted the wheel to tiller, but I have preferred the original wheel and binnacle configuration. The professional copper coating has reduced the cost of annual maintenance and also improved all season performance through the water. She is in excellent condition and will bring much pride and pleasure to the new owner.
