About this PEGASUS 700
The Pegasus 700 is a family cruiser with a surprisingly spacious interior. The shallow draft makes them excellent for coastal cruising or exploring the Norfolk Broads. They have a very good reputation for safe and fast sailing performance.

The accommodation offers four berths in an open plan cabin. V berth forward with opening hatch and marine toilet under. In saloon, two settee berths. Saloon table. Slide-out galley to starboard with manually pumped water supply. 45 litre freshwater capacity.
Located behind the companionway, Yanmar 1GM10 single cylinder 8hp diesel engine. Electric start. Seawater cooled. Shaft drive to two bladed propeller. Single lever control. 40 litre fuel capacity. Cruising speed 4.5 knots. Maximum speed under power 5.5 knots.

Built in 1983 by Pegasus Yachts to a design by Gordon Harris. White GRP hull with style stripes. Rubbing strake. White GRP superstructure with moulded non-slip to deck. Twin keels. Skeg hung rudder. Tiller steering. Aft self draining cockpit.
