DESCRIPTION

A truly special boat, beloved by her owners, Canuck has been thoughtfully upgraded and maintained with an open checkbook and with reliability, ease of handling, and preventative maintenance as the priorities. Having just completed, in May 2022, a complete mechanical and haul out service to the tune of $25,000 (receipts available), Canuck is ready for her next owners to enjoy immediately.

As the 20th of 20 hulls completed of this model by Pacific Seacraft, she was the culmination of years of improvement and development. The only model equipped with the larger Yanmar engines, she offers her owners excellent efficiency when cruising at 10 knots, with the ability to increase speed when required.

A sea-kindly hull with a centerline keel, hard chines aft, low center of gravity, and wide walkarounds make for a comfortable boat underway or at anchor. A proven cruiser, she has been up and down the coast between Washington and San Francisco twice, as well as cruising through the San Juan and Canadian Gulf islands.

An inspection of Canuck will not disappoint, she is in excellent condition, fresh water moored, freshly serviced, and ready to cruise.

Salon

Encompassing the lower helm, salon, dining table and galley, the main interior space is open, airy, with wonderful visibility, two sliding side doors to access port and starboard walkways, and comfortable cozy seating. An L shaped banquet to port faces an opposing upholstered bench to starboard with a beautiful teak table with storage and folding leaves in the middle. Gorgeous teak and holly floors run the length of the salon, and removable custom fitted carpets are included. Large deck hatches provide access to the engine room below. There is no lack of storage, and 6’7” of headroom making the space feel comfortable, bright, and larger than you would expect.

Galley

Tastefully integrated into the salon, the galley occupies the aft portion, with the apartment sized Norcold refrigerator and freezer to port, and the L-shaped Corian counter with dual basin stainless sink (with Seagull water purification system), Force 10 3 burner propane stove with oven, and GE microwave to starboard.

The well laid out, large format galley is an impressive use of space, and comes fully equipped for cruising with dishware, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans, cutting boards, etc. all stored away. The amount of storage access is truly impressive, and being able to look out the widows while in the galley is a real treat.

Owner's Stateroom

The entire aft cabin is a private space to relax and enjoy a quiet place away from guests when there are 4 people staying aboard. Surrounded by windows, and beautiful solid teak cabinetry, the athwartship island queen berth is a comfortable place for extended cruising. Tall cedar lined hanging lockers, and custom built in drawers showcase the craftsmanship, and thoughtfulness of the design with an owner’s comfort prioritized. A private door to the aft cockpit is a nice feature for both ventilation and access.

Owner's Stateroom Ensuite

The ensuite head is clean, spacious, and has excellent ventilation and light. Appointed with a separate tall shower stall, freshwater Vacuflush head, and ample storage, the head is suitable for extended periods aboard.

Gust Stateroom

The guest stateroom is located in the bow and provides good privacy and separation for another couple or children. A large v-berth with removable center section provides comfortable sleeping accommodation, teak cabinetry and cedar lined hanging locker afford plenty of storage, as well as beneath the bed cushions. The large dressing seat, overhead hatch and a large ensuite head are welcome features of this well-appointed guest cabin.

Helm

The lower helm is easily accessed through the starboard sliding door, giving easy access to the side decks for visibility and when single-handing. An upholstered folding helm seat acts as a bolster when retracted, or as a proper helm seat when desired.

Fully equipped with a Raymarine suite of electronics, all in good working order, the E120 chart plotter has been upgraded to an LED version. Thruster, throttle, and autopilot controls are intuitive and accessible, engine gauges are all functioning, and the oil pressure gauges have just been replaced. Above the helm are additional Raymarine gauges for wind, depth, and multifunction, along with the ICOM VHF, and other 12V switches.

The windshield consists of three panels, each with their own pantographic wiper, and window defogger, all recently serviced.

Aft Deck & Cockpit

The aft deck and cockpit are mainly occupied by the aft cabin trunk house which also houses the tender. Molded steps to reach the flybridge are found on the port side, and a large lazarette can be accessed at the transom. A stout hinged door opens to step down to the swim platform.

Swim Step

A large, full beam fiberglass swim platform allows easy boarding from the dock, tender, or from the water using the foldout swim ladder.

Flybridge & Upper Helm

Protected by a beautiful bimini top and frame, installed new in 2019, the flybridge area is a comfortable space to enjoy the fresh air, with ample seating and a full suite of electronics, and excellent visibility, it is a wonderful place operate the vessel from or socialize on a nice day.

Engine Room

A large engine room for a vessel of her size, she is well laid out and has incredible access from both the cockpit sole and aft stateroom. Well-lit with upgraded LED lighting, and a recent full service, the engine room sparkles.
