Mostly rebuilt by a 500 ton captain with rebuilt engine, all new wiring, refrigeration, all new sails still in bags and a traditional interior with V-berth forward, twin settees and single head aft to port. Still needing some work by the new owner, but will motor away today.
This 1983 33’ Offshore Cutter was built as a sea going vessel with a traditional interior and large cockpit.
She was a project boat when bought and the captain that owns her put a lot of work into her refurbishing the 27hp diesel, rebuilding the mainsail track (needs installation) and adding many nice features. Julie Mango is now on the market looking for a new captain to finish her out and take her cruising. This owner bought a brand new set of cruising sails (never flown), Adler Barbour refrigeration installed and painted the bilges with all new hoses and all new electrical wiring. She will need some other equipment like the wheel pilot assembly (control head installed), installing the new mast top Anemometer for the wind, speed and direction gauge, replacement of the depth sounder and general teak care on deck. A new cabin top hatch was installed and all of the standing rigging has upper and lower Staylocks for easy replacement when necessary. This great sailing vessel needs some loving and hull cleaning, but sails well and has decent interior space for living aboard. She is currently moored at a live-aboard spot in Ft. Lauderdale ready to be lived on or just make your additions and sail away to the Keys and Bahamas with a shoal draft keel. If this sailing vessel is of interest, please call Barry and set up your personal preview. The owners have purchased another boat down island and this boat must be sold now!
