1976 ODRA Shipyard 19.75m Steel Survey

Boat Overview

This is a very flexible 19.75m Steel survey boat built in 1976. She was constructed in Poland and has served as both a pilot boat and a survey vessel.

Wheelhouse and Visibility

The large wheelhouse features:

• A comprehensive control and helm suite

• Direct access to the engine room, aft cabin area, and aft deck

The twin Kent screens provide good visibility in bad weather, and roof lights aid in viewing upwards.

Safety Systems

New safety systems include:

Aft Cabin and Deck

The aft cabin includes:

• 4 bunk berths
• A small galley with its own heads and shower

The large aft deck area provides access down to the aft storage and steering room, offering great access to the steering gear and ample storage or workshop space.

Forward Accommodation

Moving forward, there is separate accommodation with:

• 4 bunks
• Heads
• Shower
• Heating

The foredeck has access down to the focsle, which is a good size and includes a small moon pool for survey instrument deployment. There is also a deck Derek for deploying or retrieving the test kit from deck level, along with a separate Derek at the rear on the aft deck area.

Machine Space

The machine space is well laid out and includes:

• Main engine: 420HP WOLA v12 diesel (very economical)
• Twin 18kva 415V diesel generators flanking the main motor
• Compressed air system
• Fire fighting pumping system
• A well-equipped workshop area

She is full of fuel at 6T, approximately 6500L.

Additional Information

Sailing trials are welcomed by the vendor once a deal is agreed and a deposit is paid. The boat was drydocked last year, re-blacked, and new anodes were fitted. Hull plate thickness was checked. She has been certified for 60 miles from safe haven use in her life. If used commercially, this certification will need to be renewed. SCMS certification can be organized by the vendor at an additional cost of £60k if required. If used privately, she has great potential as a go-anywhere vessel that could convert into a spacious, capable, and characterful home for exploring the world.
