DESCRIPTION

Nordic Folkboat built in Poland in 1963. A pretty boat that has retained the sleek design of the Scandinavian boats with low topsides and an unobtrusive and well proportioned coachroof. Interior space is limited but her looks more than make up for this. Professionally rebuilt in 1999 with all new laminated ribs, new deck, coachroof and cockpit. Mast and rigging replaced in 1999, sails new in 2009. New Yamaha outboard in 2018. A nice example with many good features.

Wooden Ships Comments

Nordic Folkboat built in Poland in 1963. Extensively restored for the present owner in 1998/1999 with virtually all new frames and new keel bolts, new deck and coachroof, plus new rigging and recent sails.

Since then she has been cruised every season around the West Country and as with most Folkboats she has proven to be a fast and fun little cruising boat, enabling the owners to get afloat without huge annual expenditure.

The boat is very well equipped including a new Yamaha outboard engine and a cockpit tent which extends the living space in wet weather to nearly double.
