DESCRIPTION

Summary

This Najad 361 for sale is a highly sought after 1999 cruising boat. Boasting three berths and two cabins, she provides comfortable sleeping arrangements for four adults, with two additional occasional berths in the saloon. Her 11.20m length and 3.50m beam provide spacious all-around living and excellent sailing performance. Her Volvo Penta MD 22 marine diesel engine and Maxi-Roach in mast furling mainsail combine to give an enjoyable cruising speed. On deck, LORA MHOR is well catered with Raymarine C120 Classic MFD Chart Plotter, Radar Scanner, VHF and AIS Transceiver, while indoors she has a Force 10 galley range cooker, Eberspacher diesel fired heating, a 12V auxiliary power socket and a Blaupunkt CD/Radio head unit. With only two owners since new, LORA MHOR is an absolutely stunning example of the Najad 361 class.

English

The Najad 361 was a development of the earlier very popular Najad 36. The new hull featuring a longer waterline and extended aft overhang. The NACA wing section keel and semi-balanced rudder updating her under water profile. On deck the rig configuration was updated with the shrouds coming inboard to improve sheeting angles. This development of the hull improved windward sailing performance and comfort onboard while at sea. Below decks the layout was updated with to provide comfortable accommodation below for 4 over two cabins with a further two occasional berths in the saloon.

With just her second owner since new the Najad 361 LORA MHOR is a much loved example of the class. Her owners have enjoyed extended cruising with her. Since purchasing the boat in 2003 they have made several long distance trips including trips venturing as far north as Svalbard and Magdalenafjord as well as exploring the Lofoten Islands, Faore and a circumnavigation of Iceland. Reluctantly retiring from sailing she is offered for sale with a comprehensive inventory including:
