Rabbit Hole is a Morgan Classic 41' masthead sloop featuring a center cockpit, shoal draft keel, and a three cabin layout. This model is also known as the Morgan Out Island Classic.

Styling and Space

The basic approach to styling was to maintain a low profile without the traditional high trunk cabin, achieved through a modified flush deck design. A low sheer line was created by the rub rail detail and contrasting whale stripe, resulting in a low appearing freeboard with the weather deck positioned well above the water line.

Maximum interior space was accomplished primarily through her wide beam. The beam to length ratio of the Catalina Morgan 41 is .34 (most sailing yachts center around .30). This maximum beam also provides good hull form stability, which is important in cruising sailboats, especially those with shoal draft keels.

The wide beam offers more clear deck space and room for a large center cockpit, allowing for a spacious engine room amidships.

The engine room location provides substantial physical separation between the aft stateroom and the main salon, resulting in a high degree of privacy for a yacht of this size.
