Additional Comments

Built for the 1993 miniTransat, sailed in the 1995 miniTransat and other Mini 6.50 races  including the mini Fastnet.  The owner bought her to find out what a Mini 650 was like to sail and was totally surprised.  He reports that the boat fells like a 40 footer, beautifully balanced, stable and very quick.  She has been on a swinging mooring and wintered ashore.  Since buying the boat, he has given her a complete refit (he is an experienced boatbuilder), renewing the standing rigging, removing and correctly refitting all the deck fittings, improvng the mainsheet system, rebuilding the companionway, adding a new autopilot, battery and VHF, and generally optimising the deck layout to make the boat easy and efficient to sail.  She was antifouled in the Spring this year, so  the boat is ready to sail away.

Easy to sail, loads of fun and very quick.  The absolute antithesis of the average modern family cruiser, this tough little boat is for those who hate modern inconveniences but love to sail...fast!
