History: This boat is a piece of history, being part of the lineage of Magnum boats, which were the forerunners of the Cigarette style of boats. Built by Don Arnow, these boats were known as the King of Thunder Boat Row located on 188th Street in North Miami Beach.

Restoration Details
This 1974 Maltese has been restored to reflect its racing heritage and is period correct. The restoration includes:
- New paint with traditional paint striping
- Electrical and mechanical systems updated
- Dash and racing bolsters with candy striped 70's upholstery
- All original or re-chromed hardware
- Original name: Magnum Force, last name: Thriller
- Originally sold to Burbank Marine in California, moved to Delaware in 2007 and Illinois in 2008
- Original color: Tangerine with white top and bottom
Engine Rebuild
The starboard engine has undergone a total rebuild, using:
- Rollers, cam, crank, oil pan, 6 rods, and pistons (everything else is new)
- Block bored to 30 over
- Customized Dart heads
The port engine's top end has been reworked with improved existing Bow Tie heads. The engines have a compression ratio of 11-1 and burn premium fuel.
Performance
The boat's first time in the water was on 11/10/2010, achieving a flawless run at 70 mph with throttle left. Further tuning is needed to maximize performance, especially in flat water conditions.
