Halberdier 36 – ‘Jinty’ - Live Aboard - Blue Water Cruiser An incredibly rare and wonderful opportunity to own a truly stunning version of this blue water motor sailor. A proven seakeeping design, this Halberdier was originally constructed in 1980 and although commonly outfitted by Moody what made ‘Jinty’ unique was that her hull was left untouched by her first owner for 20 years until her current owners bought her in 2000. The next 13 years was spent fully commissioning her until she was finally launched in 2013. Her hull has therefore seen very few sea miles and her engine has only achieved 71 hours of running time. Internally she has been outfitted in a very modern fashion that is both up to date with electronics and boasts many practical features that make her both incredibly homely and a true delight to sail. Her loving owners have gone to extensive measures to ensure that there has been no compromise between practicality or comfort to allow 'Jinty' to be a true live aboard with care and attention in her construction clearly visible in many of the features on board - from the LED light fixtures to chrome deck fittings on deck to the clean layout of the engine bay that houses the Beta B50 Diesel engine. With most items on board only 3 years old ‘Jinty’ is a true “modern classic” unlike anything else currently on the market and will certainly make her new owner/s very proud to sail her. Only taken out of the water at the start of May 2016 ‘Jinty’ now stands in the boatyard here at Holyhead marina making it an ideal time to view for an inspection. If you are someone who is looking for a comfortable ready to go Blue Ocean sailor that requires next to no work then a viewing is highly recommended as the quality of the vessel on offer here really has to be seen to be appreciated. Please Note: 'Jinty' is a "Macron" Halberdier and not a "Moody" Halberdier. Macron used to provide the hulls to Moody who would then outfit them. Later variants such as this one were outfitted in house by Macron.
