She is equipped with a comprehensive array of electronics and equipment package which will compliment a number of other applications. The Lochin 367 offers exceptional sea keeping capability built to exceedingly high standards and her deck layout and dual steering positions emphasis her diverse operational capabilities. Accommodation
From forward:
The FORWARD CABIN area is laid out as a crew ‘mess room’ with two occasional bunks, central table (demountable) and seating for 4 persons. The GALLEY (P) has a stainless steel sink (H&C), microwave, Zip hot water boiler, refrigerator and usual storage areas. The HEADS compartment (S) with sea toilet, wash/hand basin and shower facility. A dedicated access is provided behind the main console area to electrical installations and under panel areas. Hanging locker adjacent to the companionway steps which leads to: WHEELHOUSE area - central con position for the helmsman and navigator adjacent (S) each having KAB suspension seating. The console is faceted to incorporate electronic displays, comms and AC control panel etc. with a return alongside the helm for engine and essential operational controls. The navigator has a working area (S). A central ventilation hatch is above with additional upward vision windows (P&S) for when alongside larger vessels. Peripheral vision has been maximised. The rear section of the cabin is set out for the monitoring crew providing two desks with suspension seats, built-in screen displays and space under for PC equipment . A bench seat (P) faces inboard for 2/3 crew under which a store is provided for safety gear. A locker and storage rack are provided at the rear with a day access hatch to the engine room below. Large access hatches allow for major servicing and there is a 'soft patch' in the roof section above for engine removal. The ENGINE ROOM has a central tread-plate walk-way with all services accessible including auxiliary tanks and installed equipment. The port offset wheelhouse door leads to: COCKPIT / DECK AREA - sealed and self-draining through the open transom acting as a freeing port closed off with the electrically operated folding recovery platform. A hinging MoB / recovery davit is mounted to starboad. A central hatch provides access to the tiller flat & tank space. Wide side decks lead forward with inboard security rails and the Hadrian rail provides unencumbered movement along each flank. The 'island' rail forward protects the working area on the foredeck. The upper FLY-DECK steering platform allows two crew members an elevated vantage position when needed with dual controls and instrument monitoring panel. The gantry mast above this position houses all antenna and navigation/working lights. EXTERNALLY the vessel has heavy duty fendering along the gunwhale strake with inter-straking along the rear part of the hull sides.
