Rare as rocking horse poo, these cats do not show up very often especially in this kind of condition!
This is a must see and is definitely not an average ex-charter boat which just cannot be compared with other similar boats available.
Being well built, good looking, with its twin engines spaced miles apart to aid ease of handling, able to turn easily within its own length, converting to a power catamaran is really an obvious choice.

The Jeanneau Lagoon power range has definitely grown on people with its spacious cabins. More and more boat owners are realizing the benefits of a catamaran hull. With the amount of boats that Lagoon are building of this type now they must certainly be doing something right.
The Lagoon power is a very purposeful seagoing vessel and with a vast amount of usable space on board both inside and out for a boat this size it is easy to see why they are definitely growing in popularity.
For those unfamiliar with the power catamaran concept the headline benefits do not end at the mentioned space. When I say usable space, you will find many modern monohull motor yachts eager to enhance their styling tend to put curves on everything, to the point you can't put your beer or G&T down on a flat surface anywhere, or find somewhere to sit without sliding off your seat. The Lagoon power answers these little niggles with acres of flat space on board.
The main benefit without doubt is fuel economy, even with her upgraded powerful 320 hp twin diesels,at 7kn of speed, she is burning 1.2l/hr in total, which can save a significant amount of your fuel bill in comparison to a conventional motor yac ht. With these big engines in her, she will do 24kns ... and cruise great at 15-18kn ... from slow and leisurely, burning about as much fuel as a sailing catamaran ... fast enough to get out of the way of weather or make the anchorage before nightfall. With the largest crossing in the Caribbean being under 60 miles ... nothing is more that 4-6 hrs away for this boat.
The catamaran hull also offers a far greater range, making long distance cruising a breeze. Her 1600 ltr capacity will give her a range of over 1300 nm!
Explore those unreachable creeks that many motor yachts would not dare to tread.
There is of course the stability factor, fairly insignificant " rock & roll" anchored off the reef in any kind of swell. Of course the shallow draft enables you to get on the other side of the reef nicely nosed up against the beach. You can even dry out between the tides to give your bottom a scrub!
Well this one is seriously for sale in the right location, the right condition and by all accounts at the right price.....
The boats owners have looked after this one like their baby and nobody is going to be disappointed once anyone checks her out. The owners have completely re-fitted her at a cost of over $50,000 with new work tops, teak decking, fridge freezers, new air conditioning etc, etc to make her really special. This is probably going to be the best example you will ever set eyes upon, a real “rose amongst thorns”!
The owner is well qualified to understand that any boat needs constant maintenance, where certainly being on top of all on board systems. Everything works, and in tip top condition, leaving nothing for the new owner to worry about.
"Discovery" is not going to be around for long that's for sure, and you will spend a lot of money on air fares searching for one as good as this little beauty, so please believe me, you owe it to yourself to check this one out before it is to late.
We have had some enquiries from European buyers interested in shipping the cat back to Europe and we have spoken to a shipping company, who can bring it back as deck cargo for around 22,000 USD.
