Up to six berths in two cabins (main cabin and an aft cabin running beneath the cockpit
within the port quarter), utilising a 'Breton'-style forward berth that is open to the main saloon at a raised level, with an in-filling support panel to extend the berth to full-length for night time
use. Heads compartment located aft, to starboard of the main companionway, with an aft
facing chart table mounted on its forward bulkhead, at which a navigator sits utilising the
end of the saloon seating on that side. L-shaped galley to port of the companionway.
A simple entertainment radio is fitted beneath the chart table, with
stereo speakers in the main cabin.
Main Cabin: This is located relatively well forward within the hull, centred about a saloon table that is mounted on the mast's support post and offers U-shaped seating around the table. Closed, under-deck lockers combine with under-berth lockers to offer stowage, with the water tank located beneath the forward berths. Good light levels are provided by fixed side windows and a forward-facing window fitted to the coach roof's forward face, together with an opening
overhead hatch located above the table. The head lining moulding is worthy of note; with an
attractive 'timber sheathing' relief incorporated in its design and removable panels for access
to the major deck fittings about the coachroof.
Galley: Located to port (thereby assisting its practicality when hove-to on starboard tack),
the galley is of a straightforward L-shape, with single stainless-steel sink, pressurised hot
and cold water supply via a mixer tap, top-opening and refrigerated cool box, a Plastimo Atlantic two burner gas cooker is fitted with oven and a grill for the toast! Crockery and dry staples stowage is within the under-deck locker, outboard of the cooker and the work surface, while there is a shelved locker beneath the sink.
Aft Cabin: Double berth with stowage space beneath and deep fiddled shelf to hull side
outboard. A hanging locker is provided immediately inside the door. Light and
ventilation provided by an opening portlight to the coach roof side, supplemented by another
portlight to the cockpit's footwell. This aft cabin had been re-lined with hard wearing Nylon flock material.
Heads Compartment: Located to starboard immediately alongside the foot of the companionway steps for convenient access, this compartment is of good size, with a moulded hand basin, dedicated hanging locker space and pressurised water, with shower head. A marine-flushing toilet by Jabsco is fitted.
Navigation Station: This is located at the aft end of the starboard seating with the navigator
sitting at a navigating work surface that is attached to the forward bulkhead of the heads
compartment. There are deep fiddled shelves beneath for bulky item stowage. The 12-way
12V DC distribution panel is located alongside the navigator's left shoulder, with a VHF radio
beneath the switch panel. The sailing instrumentation, which is connected wirelessly to the
various sensors about the boat is mounted above the chart table, but these displays can be moved for use in the cockpit too.
Fitted with an indirectly cooled Yanmar 2GM20, twin cylinder marine diesel engine driving a fixed, two-bladed propeller through a conventional stainless-steel shaft. Engine hours not registered, but regularly professionally serviced in the current ownership. New engine mounts and new shaft seal fitted winter 2024/2025. Heat exchanger serviced in 2023 with starter motor & alternator replaced at the same time.
Provision has been made for the cooling water inlet valve to be accessible from the main
companionway without recourse to opening the engine cover.
Electrical Systems:
Three battery system fitted (2 Domestic totalling 196ah + 1 X 72ah starter) with rotary selector switch.
