Serenity is unquestionably the best equipped and most heavily optioned Jeanneau 64 on the water today. Her owner has spared no expenses to make her a yacht truly capable of world travel or the ideal island cruiser. The emphasis of the improvements were comfort, functionality, and ease of sailing. These key enhancements have transformed Serenity into a vessel where you can enjoy weekend escapes or longer voyages with ease, making it an ideal choice for live-aboard cruising or entertaining friends and family.
The luxurious amenities, cutting-edge technology, and thoughtful layout not only ensure a comfortable experience but also cater to the practical needs of modern sailors. Features like updated cabins, advanced entertainment systems, new North Sails 3Di sails, and efficient cooking and mechanical systems demonstrate a blend of luxury and practicality.
LayoutSerenity is a three cabin three head layout with crew quarters in the bow. When you first step below, the first thing you will notice is the abundance of natural light in the saloon. Followed by the spacious settees with luxurious upholstery, and a large 60” display networked into both the AV and navigation systems. And the most noticeable item is the custom table that folds to create seating for eight or more.
Galley and CabinsStepping below to port, you will enter a magnificent galley with upgraded appliances, and a spacious Corian countertop. Adjacent to the galley is a day head. Followed by the owner's cabin aft, where you will find a roomy cabin with a Tempur-Pedic mattress, upgraded lighting, premium Bose sound system and a 50” smart TV. Along with its renovated ensuite head, and large glass enclosed shower.
Stepping into the starboard side of the saloon, you will find the mid-ship stateroom, equipped with two bunks stacked on each other, which make a very stable platform when sleeping at sea. This stateroom also houses a large access door to the engine room, as well as the washer and dryer.
Forward VIP StateroomThanks to a large refit completed by New England Boatworks in 2022, moving forward to the forward VIP state room, you will notice a big difference in the design from the original layout of the boat. First off, the two forward staterooms have been combined by removing the partition that runs the centerline of the boat. This has now created a spacious cabin that includes two queen size berths with new custom mattresses. This then leads to a spacious VIP head with a glass enclosed shower, and a separate bathtub. With access to the forward crews' quarters through a door in the forward shower. In the crew's quarters you will find two additional bunks, which are perfect for visitors and grandkids.
Whether you're sailing across the Caribbean, enjoying a weekend at a marina, or living aboard, Serenity is designed to provide the utmost in comfort and performance.
As part of the NEB refit, the forward starboard stateroom had its entryway in the main bulkhead closed up. This allowed for the saloon settee to be wrapped around forward. As well it facilitated a place to hang a 50” display for AV and navigation. All upholstery was replaced, and a new electric folding table was installed. Lighting was upgraded, cabin fans were added and ample 120v outlets were added.
Recent UpgradesRefit with the work at NEB to give this spacious cabin a more luxurious and refined look, as well as more function for a live-aboard. Upgrades include updated lighting, additional 120v outlets, and new finishes.
As part of the NEB refit, this state room was modified from the original layout to remove the center partition and create one large stateroom with two queen berths. This is a great spacious and open cabin that provides ample storage in cabinetry.
Serenity’s galley is a chef’s dream, equipped with abundant Corian countertop space, a new refrigerator with an icemaker, a high-efficiency dishwasher, and a 240v convection microwave. Whether you're preparing casual meals or elaborate feasts, this galley allows you to cook with ease and elegance, even while at anchor off a Caribbean island.
Serenity comes rigged top-of-the-line when it comes to navigation and electronics. With full network integration between the Garmin navigation system, AV, and Volvo engine. Serenity leaves no questions unanswered when it comes to navigation or systems management. With large Garmin multifunction displays at each helm station, and below decks, there are ample locations to have total control.
ElectronicsSerenity has a molded cored fiberglass hull, with a wing keel, and single rudder. With a brilliant white gelcoat, and fresh black bottom paint, she really looks amazing with her black 3Di sails.
Walking around Serenity’s beautiful teak decks, the first thing you’ll notice is the clean layout with minimal hardware to avoid on the side decks. As well as the very clean installation of all of the sail control lines that run in their own concealed channel along the cabin side.
Serenity’s cockpit is a great layout for entertainment, and function when sailing. Her open design and forward seating with tables offers room at the table for more than 10 people, but her after layout provides plenty of space to effectively sail the boat, with not one getting in the way.
With a 95’ tall three spreader aluminum mast made by Selden, and her new complement of North 3Di sails, Serenity is a dream to sail, and she will get you where you want to go quickly and safely. As well the simple layout provides an efficient platform that makes shorthanded sailing a breeze.
Serenity is powered by the most technologically advanced sails on the market, North Sails’ 3Di technology. They not only offer great performance, but they are unmatched in durability, leading to many miles of cruising ahead. And with her four electrically powered winches from Harken, there is minimal effort required to push every ounce of performance out of the boat.
Powered by a stout Volvo engine and four bladed feathering propeller, Serenity motors like a dream, and with some impressive acoustical insulation encasing the engine room, you can hardly hear the motor running.
The electrical system has been meticulously upgraded to increase function and comfort and is at the forefront of all new technologies. New upgrades to the lithium-ion battery bank, with Victron chargers' system will keep all of the refrigeration running indefinitely.
