Construction
Hull and deck constructed of balsa-cored GRP sandwich with unidirectional and biaxial laminates.
Bulkheads laminated to both hull and deck. Chain plates bolted to hull.
Aluminium mast-step fastened to main bulkhead to support mast compression.
Lead keel bolted and epoxy bonded to deep moulded stub with sump.
Hull is reinforced with moulded GRP stringers in keel sump and in bow sections.
Deck with moulded high traction non-skid.
Spade rudder of GRP foam sandwich mounted on alloy stock with self-aligning bearings.
Bolts, screws and fittings are all made of marine grade stainless steel.
