About this Island Packet 380
This one owner boat has been kept on a private dock, and has been maintained consistently professionally. The boat has been lightly used, and there are no known deficiencies.
This is one of the most popular models built by Island Packet, and this boat will not disappoint.
As one enters the main cabin, the aft stateroom is to port. It has a queen berth athwartships, lockers and drawers, as well as a sink with hot and cold running water.
The main salon has a settee that sleeps one, and the dinette converts into a very comfortable double berth.
Just forward of the dinette is the large head and shower. The electric head has a wooden seat that folds down for sitting while showering. There is an acrylic folding shower door that separates the shower from the sink and vanity. The head and shower have two doors, granting access from both the main cabin as well as the forward cabin.
The main cabin is located forward, and consists of a centerline queen berth. There is storage under the berth, which lifts up on gas shocks. There are also two large drawers under the berth, and a hanging locker on the starboard side. All lockers and drawers are cedar-lined.

The Princess 3 burner stove and oven is gimbaled, and is located outboard along the hull. There is a board that covers the burners when not in use, and adds to the counter space. Just forward of the stove, recessed in a designated area, is the Origo microwave.
Moving inboard is a large recessed storage locker, and double stainless steel sinks. There is pressurized hot and cold water, as well as a manual pump. The trash is located under the sink, and slides out in a dedicated locker.

The Yanmar 4JH2BE 54 HP engine powers the boat comfortably through seas and against currents. It is reliable and fuel efficient, burning no more than 1 gallon per hour on average. Parts and service centers are readily available worldwide.
This particular engine has been serviced regularly by an owner who understands the need to maintain engines very well.
The engine is located under the companionway steps, and is accessed on either side as well as from the front. The steps can be removed, and the locking engine hatch cover can be removed, granting access to the front of the engine. On the port side, in the aft cabin, is a hinged door that gives one access to the alternator and starter motor.
On the starboard side of the engine is a hinged door giving access to the injector pump, fuel and oil filters. The Racor housing is mounted on the door, which when opened swing out, making either changing the filter or bleeding the engine extremely easy. There is an electric pump switch attached to the Racor assembly to facilitate this.
Access to the transmission and shaft is in the aft cabin, under the berth.

Hull And Deck
The deck is wide and easy to move forward, when necessary. All lines are led aft to the cockpit, and the main is in-mast furling. The electronics are mounted above the companionway entrance, making it easy for the helmsman to read, even when people are in the cockpit. The GPS chartplotter is mounted on the binnacle, and the Autopilot is in a recessed area to port of the helm. The engine instruments are to starboard, and the single lever throttle is located on the pedestal.
There is a bimini and dodger, and sheet lockers are hidden under the wood coaming of the cockpit. The two primary winches are located on the coaming, making single handed sailing easy. The emergency tiller is located in the lazarette, and the access to the rudder is under the helmsman's seat. There are 2 comfortable seats in the pushpit, one on either side.
