Unique opportunity to acquire one of a few traditional boats in the Galway Hooker tradition built by the Casey Brothers of Mweenish Island Connemara in 1929 and extensively refurbished in 2012. A great day sailing boat that will turn heads at every pier.

Accommodation

Open boat with seating. Covered fore deck for boat gear. An tUulach (The Ulster) has recently been completely refurbished - documented in Watercraft Magazine. Recent - 2012 for a boat built in 1929 that's like last week! This is the smaller Galway Hooker known as a Gleóiteog which in English means "the pretty one." Buy into a great example of maritime heritage in a boat that is as good as a new build.
