But that effort will be well worth it! Allow me to present a small vessel at feet, but an impressive presentation including an accommodating cockpit and a sizeable cuddy cabin. The cockpit has comfortable seating. The Seller is replacing the passenger seat which also has an additional seat for another passenger. The cockpit /galley is open with sufficient counter space with a single sink, icebox, and one burner alcohol stove. Powered by a hp Mercruiser . Chronological History - new remanufactured Mercruiser installed. or - the previous owner purchased the Excel. He is a mechanic and took excellent care of the vessel. It was a freshwater boat. The oil was changed twice a year regardless of how many hours the Excel was used. The hull was polished annually. The manifolds were replaced /. - the previous owner moved to Florida. Excel kept on a trailer. - Excel in a slip on the Intercoastal - but engine and boat rinsed after every use. - July" extensions added with new risers July - Engine was serviced. Fuel tank and sender replaced. Replaced the cockpit floor and reinstalled the carpet. The previous owner supplied a new throttle as well which has not been installed. August - Sold the Excel to the current Seller who never used the boat. Hours are to . The current Seller did start the engine periodically. CONDITION OF VESSEL The Excel needs TLC. This is a good boat that needs a good detailing. The carpet for the most part is in good condition. There are a few rust spots in the carpet in the cabin, that could easily be covered with a similar colored rug because it is such a small area. There is a brand new throttle still in the box that needs to be installed. The cushions in the cabin and the cockpit are in good condition. There are what appear to be mildew stains on the headliner. I will attempt to remove with a good cleaner the next time I visit the Excel. The Seller had taken the passenger seat out to reupholster... but never finished. He has installed the new seat. See Photo etc. The Seller has not really used the Excel. He did start the engine periodically. The previous owner was a mechanic and he took care of the Excel which is why it is in the condition it is. The cockpit cover and the bimini cover are both in good condition.
