Remarks :
The unsinkable Etap 30, with its 18hp Volvo diesel engine has good sailing qualities with a cast iron fin keel and balanced GRP rudder with tiller steering. She is a comfortable sea boat that is responsive and easy to sail.  This example has a slab reefing mainsail with furling genoa and thus is easy to sail short handed. Accommodation comprises five/six berths in two cabins with full width heads compartment with marine toilet, washbasin and hanging locker. Galley to port has a gimballed two burner gas cooker with oven and grill, stainless steel sink and 12v fridge.
This boat has only had two owners from new and only once since 1991, with the current owner owning her for the past Thirty years. This boat has been sailed on the East Coast and to France, Belgium and Holland, but has been lightly used for the last three years. Boat was last antifouled in February 2022. 
Accommodation :

This ETAP 30 offers 6 berths in 2 cabins with 1 head, maximum headroom 6ft.
The owners forward cabin has a large double berth which can be converted to two single berths. Lots of storage space. Opening hatch to deck. A full width heads compartment with marine toilet, washbasin, hanging locker and storage with opening hatch.
The saloon has two full length settee berths. The starboard settee berth will convert to a double berth. A single and double berth in the saloon. A single quarter berth extends under the cockpit.
The saloon has a central table with drop leaves  with bottle storage in the centre. It has a hatch above that can seat six in comfort. The saloon has lots of stowage space in side storage lockers, beneath the saloon seats.  Ebersbacher diesel cabin heating with outlets throughout. 

The chart table is to Starboard with good size table and instrument area. Chart table top fits on a tubular leg which forms a cockpit table.
The galley is to port and has a stainless steel single sink with hot water from the engine and calorifier, gas cooker with grill and oven new in 2019, 12v fridge and good storage space. The boat is being offered for sale with crockery, cutlery and curtains. There is also an additional heavy duty winter washboard in addition to the normal.
Cockpit has good seating space and benefits from a full cockpit enclosure.

History & Construction
Hull, deck and superstructure moulded in white GRP with beige moulded non skid areas. Cast Iron Fin keel and balanced spade GRP rudder with tiller steering. Foam sandwich construction which means the Etaps are known to be unsinkable and this also adds to the insulation reducing condensation. Internal joinery is teak with blue/grey upholstery.

Sails and Rigging:

Fractional rigged sloop. Deck stepped Selden 1990 aluminium mast and boom with slab reefing mainsail and Furlex roller system for furling genoa. Stainless steel standing rigging (replaced 2006 ) and Terylene running rigging (replaced as required. Spinnaker pole and adjustable backstay.

Single lever controls with electric start. Saildrive to a 2 blade fixed prop. Stainless steel 40 litre fuel tank. Fuel consumption is approx. 1.25 litres per hour at 5Knots.

2 x 12v 110amp batteries charging from alternator and battery charger via a 240v Shorepower system with 240v sockets throughout.
