TONS OF UPGRADES & EXTRAS!! CUSTOM TRAILER!!! READY TO FISH!!! This is a fantastic flats boat, dedicated to only one thing, which it does supremely well. She has been used for a GPS mapping project in remote areas so has been equipped and rigged for great reliability. If you know top-end flats boats, you are aware of what an Egret is. Each one is custom made and unique. The hull design is what makes these boats special.. It was highly refined with wood prototypes before going into production. The smooth stable and dry ride is legendary. She can go through chop at speed when others are getting beat up and slowing down. This boat is the more desirable older model built before some changes were made in the early 2000s. This Egret has the preferred carbon and Kevlar hull, decks and hatches. All reinforced with carefully selected foam core for each application. No wood in the boat. This is a boat you can pass on to your grandchildren. Positive flotation, the hull was recently re-gelcoated ice blue. The wrap on the upper hull has now been removed as the pictures now show. It does not hide damage. There is only one small chip in the gel coat at the bow. Minor scuffing on the bottom. All of the deck fittings are top notch. Everything drains so no standing water anywhere. Compartments are all sealed to stay dry, the owner confirms. Stainless hardware, stainless and bronze thru hulls all reflect great quality. There are large forward storage compartments, 2 live wells to the rear, one smaller for bait and another for catch and release fish. They are each equipped with recent recirculation systems with high speed underwater pickups, and a MaxAir system. Side compartments will hold a dozen rods securely. The bilge pump is newer as well, although with the boat's well thought out drainage system it is rarely needed. The entire electrical system is best grade stuff as well. The boat has been rewired. The house battery is recent. The trolling motor runs off 2 recent lithium batteries. There is a sophisticated PowerPole battery charging system that distributes power to the batteries, including charging underway and can combine all three for engine starting if needed. All wiring is tidy. All lights are LED. The electronics include a Simrad GO9 fishfinder-plotter multifunction display. The transducer is a 3-in-1 that transmits both down and to the side as well as in 3D. Electronics are connected through a NEMA 2000 network so all engine data displays. The VHF radio is recently added with an upgraded Shakespeare antenna. The stereo is something to behold. A Fusion head unit running thru a Rockford amp drives four 8.8 inch Rockford Fosgate speakers. As expected everything is well done. The engine is a Yamaha 150 four-stroke. The boat has been stored at a marine mechanic shop, where maintenance has been kept up. The owner recently replaced the existing SEI lower unit with a new OEM one. The prop is stainless and there is a spare aboard. The engine is equipped with smart gauges. The engine has only 668 hours on it. Since the boat is super light at only 825 pounds, she will go an honest 55 MPH with 2 people aboard and a full 56-gallon tank of fuel. At top speed she gets 2.4 MPG, and about 4 MPG at cruising speed. The trolling motor is a 24 volt Minn Kota Terrova. It is mounted on a shuttle slide to get it out of the way when trailering. It releases quickly to clear the decks for flyfishing. It is equipped with a GPS transducer system for positioning and precise movement. There is also a carbon composite 20 foot push pole that rests in removable holders. There are twin 8 foot PowerPoles which are recently added. The dash has been redone- great work of course- with new switches and an acrylic dash. The bench seat has been reupholstered. The steering system was recently upgraded to hydraulic and a new Gemlux steering wheel installed. The control box is recently added as are the throttle and shift cables. The trailer is a 2019 model. The owner traveled between Florida and Louisiana with the boat in tow. Good tire tread, including a spare, bearing buddies, regreased frequently. The winch and forward roller were reworked to be optimized for this boat. The bunks are solid. All lights are LEDs. The boat is low enough and the trailer tongue is short enough to fit in a standard garage. We are looking for people all over the country who share our love for boats.
