The MUD is the Mines Watching Service. German WWII sea mines were tracked and fixed in position with mud poles and anchored with buoys. They were then blown up. As part of the equipment is also a historic machine on board type. Item 50. This this a Demo model and not suitable for shooting. This weapon can be placed on the afuit. As far as we know there are only two of these ships in the Benelux which are still (reasonably) original.

On this ship the original Detroit diesel engines have been replaced by Ford engines because they run much more economically and are much lighter. The boat sails wonderfully easy and can be sailed alone both inside and outside.

The patrol boat is seaworthy and made of Cortens steel with an aluminum superstructure.

These ships were phased out of active duty by the Navy in the 70s and 80s. The last operational duty of this ship was with the Navy diver. The so-called frogmen.

The present owner has sailed the boat on sea, open water and rivers and bought the ship from a very well known deceased terschellinger who rescued and jutten and seals with it in the past. First he sailed with the previous owner and since 3 years he is the owner of the boat.
