Helderse Vlet now in online auction. Everyone can bid until March 27, 2023.
This authentic, beautifully renovated Hellenic mahogany vlet (riveted mahogany) is in good condition, well maintained and equipped with lots of comfort and charm. The vlet has been completely rebuilt and restored by the previous owner. Many new parts are present including the water pump and fuel filter. The current owner took over the sloop in perfect condition three years ago and is impressed with its special sailing characteristics and appearance: authentic, very stylish, charming are the best words for it.
The size of the boat makes it quite possible to sail with 6 to 8 people on board. In addition, the diesel is economical in use. The vlet comes complete with an anchor, paddles, boat hooks, bathing ladder (stainless steel and a separate original wooden bathing ladder), cushions, sailing stool, flag, tarpaulin, locks, lines, fenders and fuel jerry can. Possibility of a double bed in the front.
The engine is scheduled to receive another standard service in March 2023 before sale. The owner is selling the Helderse Vlet due to upcoming relocation. The Helderse vlet is now on the side which means that the boat will have to move back in after launching.

- The Hellenic punt was last out of the water for maintenance in 2022.
- The vlet has had its last anti-fouling treatment in 2019.
- The boat is not registered.
- Renovation: Yanmar PMX diesel engine (from 1969 with manual) overhauled. - new deck, (three years ago). painted dark blue - new water pump - completely put in new paint and bottom coat bronze three years ago. It has a new top light and two USB connections on board. Since last year it has a built-in GPS tracker from the brand Onntrack. Furthermore, there is a meterslamg cable lock a transit ticket which is still valid for 2 years for Amsterdam. The fuel gauge is not completely reliable.
- A storage trailer (without license plate) is included. This trailer has not been inspected and is in need of standard maintenance.
